Tuesday10

 

Departure from El Dorado airport. Bogota, Colombia; via New York, Tokyo to Osaka .(Japan).
Thursday 12 Arrival at Osaka  Itami airport.
Cristina van Bonzel Gomez , welcome you.
We go by bus to Kyoto.Ninna-ji temple.
Friday 13 We enjoy the early morning chanting in the Ninna-ji temple by the monks. Next we visit the golden pavilion (Rokuon-ji), the rock garden (Ryoan-ji). In the afternoon we visit the Sagano bamboo grove, and the Togetsukyo bridge over the Katsuragawa river with the mountains in the background.
Saturday 14

We join the monks in the Ninna-ji temple for their early morning chants. We visit the Silver Pavilion (Ginkaku-ji) with its Japanese garden.In the afternoon we walk down the Philosophers Path and visit the Kiyomisudera temple with its view of the city. Then we go to Gion district.

Sunday 15 We enjoy the early morning chanting in the Ninna-ji temple by the monks. Then we go by train to the Kurama mountain in order to visit the temple and cedar trees where Dr. Usui practiced his 21 days of meditation.
In the afternoon you can either stay on Kurama mountain or go to the hot spa, with inside and outside baths. (optional program).
Monday16

We enjoy the early morning chanting in the Ninna-ji temple by the monks. We visit the Reihokan, the temple's museum and the famous Japanese garden.Then we go to Tokyo.  We drop our luggage in the hotel,and take time to explore the vibrant and exciting city of Tokyo.

Tuesday 17

 We start with an early morning Tai Chi / Qi gong workshop by Cristina van Bonzel, at the shrine near the hotel. We walk from Shibuya through the Takeshi street to the Meiji Shrine. In the afternoon we visit the Harajuku and Omotesando districts of Tokyo, and we visit a brand new building by the well known architect Tadao Ando. Then we go to Saihoji temple (Memorial of Reiki founder Usui's Sensei's )and we finish our day in Roppongy hills.

Wednesday 18

We start with an early morning Tai Chi /  Qi-gong workshop by Cristina van Bonzel, at the shrine near the hotel. Then we go by train to Kamakura - Zushi, and attend a Reiki lecture. We stay here in Zushi - Kamakura in a ryokan, a typical Japanese guesthouse with a beautiful traditional garden.

Thursday 19

We start with an early morning Tai Chi/ Qi gong workshop by Cristina van Bonzel. Then we visit Chizan-so, a japanese Minka huis. We will do Zazen meditation, and get a lecture about Zen, given by the Zen priest Issho Fujita. We visit the historical city of Kamakura, the great Buddha statue, and the Hasedera temple. We end our day in the long souvenir shopping street of old Kamakura, and have our own name stamps made in japanese. Then we go to Tokyo by train and take time to continuo to explore the vibrant and exciting city of Tokyo.

Friday 20

We start with an early morning Tai Chi/ Qi gong workshop by Cristina van Bonzel, at the shrine near the hotel. Then we visit the Minato - Ku . Tokyo's main gate where the historic buildings and gardens welcomes you. We participate in a traditional Japanese Tea ceremony. In the afternoon, trip by boat on the Sumida river.Then we visit the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa with the long souvenir shopping "Nakamise" street.

Saturday21                        

Today we visit Mount Fuji and Hakone by bus, a day trip with coach, lunch included.

Departure from Tokyo to Narita airport.
Arrival at El Dorado airport (Bogota Colombia). Monday 23
